Spring Litter Cleanup
The Valley View Foundation and East Fork Watershed Collaborative are hosting the 2018 Spring Litter Cleanup throughout Clermont County and the East Fork Little Miami River watershed on Saturday, April 21st from 9am-12pm. Spring Community Shred
Residents and businesses may bring 5 boxes of documents to be shred on April 21st, 2018 from 10:00am-1:00pm. Royal Document Destruction will be accepting materials for the shred at the City Administrative Office parking lot. Staples, binder clips and things of that nature do not need to be removed.
Makers Market on Main
Join the City of Milford and the Greater Milford Area Historical Society on May 12th from 10am-4pm at the Milford Main site where local artisans will have their handmade pieces available for sale. The market is free and open to the public. For more information click here.
Bikes in Bloom
Businesses, Community Groups and residents are invited to show off your best garden art! You can design your display anyway you like, but you must incorporate a bicycle. Entries will be judged by members of the committee and awards will be given out in the following categories: Best Business Entry, Best Residential Entry and Mayor's Choice. Great US Route 50 Yard Sale/Free Yard Sale Weekend
The City will hold it's free yard sale weekend in conjunction with the 17th Annual Great Route 50 Yard Sale on Friday-Sunday, May 18-20th, 2018. The yard sale started in 2000, stretching mostly across Indiana. The sale serves to promote tourism along US 50 to unite the many diverse communities, to provide fundraising opportunities for civic organizations, to aid the environment through recycling and to provide an opportunity for visitors to enjoy great sales. The city will not require a yard sale permit on this weekend.
The 56th Annual Frontier Days, presented by the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce will be held May 31st-June 3rd, 2018. The parade will kick things off on Thursday, May 31st at 6:30pm. The theme of this years parade is Fly Like an Eagle. The festivities continue all weekend long at the festival grounds at Victor Stier Post 450. . Sparks in the Park
Our Independence Day celebration is scheduled for July 3rd from 6-10pm. This successful event from last year is gonna be bigger and better! 500 Miles to Memphis and Taylor Shannon will be performing at this new Milford tradition! Rozzi's Fireworks go off at 10:00pm!
National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes safety services, community partnerships and neighborhood comraderie to make Milford a safer, better place to live. The event is held the first Tuesday in August (1st) throughout the country. Come meet Milford's Police and Fire Departments in the parking lot of Scene 75.
Art Affaire is Milford’s premier art and fine craft show featuring approximately 100 local and regional juried artists in mediums including painting, drawing, photography, paper, clay, glass, mixed media, jewelry, leather, metal, sculpture, wood, baskets, and fiber. The event, held on Main Street in historic Milford, also includes live musical entertainment, food, community organizations, and more. Fall Festival at Valley View
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at Valleyview from 2-5pm on Saturday, October 6th. There will be music, hay rides and games for our younger residents.
Trick or Treat
Trick-or-Treat will be celebrated on October 31st from 6PM to 8PM. The Milford Police Department will be patrolling your streets, so be safe and have fun.
City Tree Lighting
Friday after Thanksgiving at 7:00pm help Santa and his elves light the City Christmas Tree at Memorial Park kicking off the holiday season in Milford.
Milford’s annual “Hometown Holidays” is scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend. This family friendly event will feature a variety of holiday happenings as well as the shops, services, and restaurants in the historic district of Milford, Ohio 45150. Christmas is that time of year for Santa to visit the residents of Milford. Santa will be escorted around the City by MCFD and will have special treats for children that come out to visit in December. Listen for the sirens to know when Santa is near your house. Please be mindful of traffic and be safe when coming outside to visit.
