Amy Vilardo

Welcome to Milford, it is my honor to represent Council, our City Employees and our citizens and welcome you to the City of Milford. Situated on the banks of the Little Miami River and established as a village in 1836, Milford has grown over the years while maintaining the "Home Town" charm, we have all come to know and love.

Just a short walk from downtown you can hike, jog or bike on our Little Miami Bike Trail. There is nothing like a walk and the smell of fall, a crisp winter morning or summer afternoon followed by a cup of home brewed coffee, ice cream or even a cold beverage from our very own Micro brewery. Milford is one of the most diverse and unique cities in Southwest Ohio. Whether you are here to visit one of our many fine shops and restaurants for a Saturday afternoon or evening, looking for a place to call home or searching for the location of your next business venture....Look no more, Milford is your destination!

We are proud to boast that the City of Milford was chosen by Ohio Magazine as one of the "Best Hometowns" in Ohio. We are honored, but we must agree, our City is the BEST and it is home to residents who care about community. Our schools are continually ranked among the best and our businesses thrive because of hardworking people with an immense pride and love for Milford.

History is meant to be preserved and while it is represented in every mile in our City, nothing is a more prominent example than our very own, Promont House, the former home of Ohio Governor, John Pattison and now a beautiful museum and home to the Greater Milford Area Historical Society. A true testament to the commitment of our community to respect our heritage while always looking forward to the future.

Come for an evening, enjoy our hospitality at one of our hometown events and you will experience why we all call Milford our home!

I hope to see you soon!
Amy Vilardo, Mayor
